Fall Desert Sunset Toned Wedding at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas in Palm Springs

Happy 1st anniversary to Britt and Joe! These two babes married in Palm Spring (where they first met) and the theme was out of this world: celestial, autumnal, romantic and magical. The concept was, in the bride Britt’s words: “if Stevie Nicks were a wedding”. The design pulls heavily on the romantic element with abundant floral, luxe materials, dripping candles and a cornucopia of seasonal fall bounty in rich hues. The colors harken to the Palm Springs landscape at sunset with the plums, pinks, sandy tones and dusky greens. Stationery and accent details pull in the celestial theme, and even coincidently Britt’s dress from Watters is called Pisces (Joe’s astrological sign).

After the lake side ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks, dinner and dancing on the rooftop. The evening finished with a high school prom themed after party that hit hard on the nostalgia and fun factor (including a surprise display of prom photos from guests and a crescent moon photo backdrop). The celebration as a whole was one that felt like “them”: a curated collection of moments seeped in fun, love and details that represented their love and interests with a splash of “glam and shimmer”.

One piece of advice from Britt and Joe to other engaged couples: “Make planning a date night! We heard it from married friends and tell all our engaged couple. Having a weekly date night to check in - even briefly - on wedding plans made the process feel less intense or overwhelming.”
