Romantic Rooftop Wedding at Portland's Exchange Ballroom

Katie and Kellen married on a sunny September afternoon on the rooftop of Portland’s historic Eastside Exchange building surrounded by views of the Willamette River, an intimate group of friends and family and lush floral from Brier and Ivy. Their romantic, midcentury modern influenced wedding was celebrated with gusto after it had been postponed by the pandemic a number of times.

We love the high contrast details with the palette of soft neutrals and blues. Katie looked divine in her romantic off-the-shoulder dress (custom made by Elizabeth Dye). In fact, when she had a first look with her niece, the little one squealed with delight (as you can see in the photos). The couple’s friend who is a graphic designer created the stationery suite to compliment their midcentury aesthetic. We were thrilled to have worked with this sweet couple and the amazing creative/vendor team to bring the vision to life. A big thanks to Carlos Hernandez for these stunning photos!
